Details:	SUMMARY: RP Sample Type Total Coliform positive-- sample date 6/25/2015. DETAILS: The set of repeat samples collected within 24 hours came back positive for total coliform. Coliform fact sheet sent to firm. A triggered source samples of Wells 2 and 3 were collected and both samples came back clean for coliforms. The firm will be collecting five routine samples in the last week of July. The firm will inform Drinking Water Department when additional water samples show no coliform bacteria. It appears the problem is not coming from the wells themselves but somewhere in the distribution system. A draft public notice was sent to the firm to be posted within 24 hours ACTION NEEDED: A triggered source sample must be collected. This requirement is to test the untreated source water (from a well) for coliform when "triggered." The trigger is a positive (present) result from a routine coliform sample in the distribution system. The water system has been disinfected and entire system has been flushed. Coliform fact sheet sent to firm. The firm must collect five routine samples in the month of July, preferably first week. A draft public notice was sent to the firm to be posted within 24 hours. A copy of the posted public notice is to be sent to DWS.
