| Details: | SUMMARY: Alert Follow-up DETAILS: On routine sampling 2 were positive for total coliforms. Operator is new to this and the sampler took 2 samples when one was necessary. Upon discussion it was noted that the aerators were not removed from the sampling locations. ACTION NEEDED: Repeats were taken but due to location and courier service they may have to be pulled tomorrow due to maximum hold time. I informed operator as to the necessary testing -- 3 samples in distribution and one at each of the wells operating at the time of the original positive sample . The operator will be reducing to one sample quarterly once this is all back to normal. Repeats will be taken without the aerators.Operator to update the coliform sampling plan to reflect one sample/quarter and repeat sites. | ||
