| Details: | SUMMARY: : RT Sample Type Total Coliform positive-- sample date 7/27/2015. DETAILS: One set of repeat samples collected on July 2i\ 2015 tested positive for total coliforms. The sampling site was the kitchen sink. Three repeat samples and two triggered source samples were required within 24 hours. Smith Frozen Foods now has a MCL violation as the triggered source sample was total coliform positive on July 291 2015. ACTION NEEDED: The firm will need to post a Tier 2 public notice (have 30 days to do so). Next step public notice - can be put up after the 5 temporary routine results are received in August. It will be the firms decision if they want to dose up the well (low level) batch chlorination and flush through the system. It appears from the results that its (coliform) minor at the moment. There is nothing they have to do immediately. The public notice was completed by Food Safety Specialist, Jeff Gard , on August 17th,20 15. The notice will be required to stay up for one week. | ||
