Details: SUMMARY: TC+ source sample results DETAILS: The city has started taking raw source water samples starting January 2016. The Feb. 1, 2016 sample was TC positive. A follow up sample was also TC+. Starting on January 15, 2016, West Extension Irrigation District was doing some dredging and piling pounding work 100-120 feet from the water source. There were about 20 plus pilings pounded in to support a new deck for a pump station for the irrigation district. The city had turned off the source but has turned it back on to flush it out. The city will wait and see if the well clears out on its own and will reevaluate next month. ACTION NEEDED: none at this time
