Details: SUMMARY: Technical Consultation/Progress Update - L&C DETAILS: We returned a phone call to Dave Griffin at 8:15am, 6/24/16. Dave reported to us that Cascade Locks Public Water System found iron bacteria inside Well #1 & Well #2. Well #1 had a 9000 bacteria count test result-- well #2 had a 500 bacteria count test result.Dave also reported that Cascade Locks PWS is nearly ready to submit their proposed ‘preferred method for optimal corrosion control’ report to our office (likely next week).We also discussed funding mechanisms for moving forward. We recommended that Cascade Locks PWS utilize the Circuit Rider program. ACTION NEEDED: Cascade Locks PWS shall submit their proposed ‘preferred method for optimal corrosion control’ report to our office by 6/30/16.Cascade Locks PWS shall address maintenance issues regarding Iron Bacteria appropriately and in accordance with OAR: 333-061.
