| Details: | SUMMARY: Limited loss of pressure boil water notice DETAILS: The District intends to issue a “Loss of pressure Boil Water Notice” to approximately 14-SRWD customers in an isolated portion of the District’s system along Brant Street north of 95th Street. Please find attached a copy of the notice that will be hand delivered to every customer in the affected area this afternoon. Due to a contractors failure to comply with Oregon Utility Service Alert requirements the District system was damaged resulting in the need to completely reduce pressure to successfully complete repairs. Affected area is isolated to approximately 14-homes and will be thoroughly flushed and a bacti sample taken from designated sample point located within the affected area. Sample will be delivered to Analytical Labs in Eugene as soon as possible. Following guidance provided by Oregon Health Authority the District will report the results of the bacti sample to OHA when they become available before seeking authorization to lift the No pressure Boil Water Notice. This area is all residential with no commercial businesses or restaurants in the affected area.
