Details: SUMMARY: Complaint Investigation no Water/Sewage DETAILS: Received a call from resident of King Silver RV Park 9/9 about raw sewage coming from potable water line at site. Laundry facilities had been shut down as well. A second complaint arrived Tuesday 9/13 about no water at site. Follow up calls were made to park about issue. Contact was made with site manager Terry Gordan about possible water issue. Mr. Gordon stated that one 2500 gal tank was almost drained due to faucet left on in laundry room. Laundry room is closed until normal supply of water can be returned and notice was posted on laundry room. Water was switched to second well. Contact was made with owner on possible loss of water pressure. He stated that at no time was pressure lost totally and water was being trucked in from City of Waldport water supply to offset water to residents until tank can be restored. At current time tank was being refilled and was at 1.5 feet out of 10 feet. Discussion also held on whether special samples should be taken. Disinfection was ongoing in first tank. Discussion also held about need for regular quarterly samples by 9/30 and the importance of notifying residents of issues in the future when water issues arise. ACTION NEEDED: Quarterly samples will be taken within 2 weeks.
