| Details: | SUMMARY: Coliform Alert DETAILS: Contacted Vinemaple WS to make sure they had taken the repeat samples for the alert above. Loretta Hale answered the phone and stated she was the current operator and that the past operators had passed away several years ago. She was not aware of the alert because her contact information was outdated. She did not know how many samples to take or who to send them to. We told her to take three repeat samples and and one trigger sample within 11 days. Called back later and left a message that she also needed to take three routine samples for a total of seven samples within the month of October. ACTION NEEDED: Samples need to be taken and sent to the lab within 11 days. Other issues that need to be addressed are included in the last sanitary survey. Information that needs to be provided to the operator includes: Information on Operations and Maintenance manual and coliform sampling plans. The County needs to verify whether the operator, or past operators, contacted a well driller for an evaluation of the groat seal around the well. | ||
