| Details: | SUMMARY: E. coli alert and change of contact DETAILS: On phone duty today, responded to E. coli alert. Had to try a few numbers. The Co-op president has changed to Mary Jackson, and her husband, Randy, now does coliform sample collection. Randy had not heard about a coliform sampling plan, and has been collecting the routine samples at the plant. He did not have enough bottles for the 3 repeat samples, so he will collect one from the same location as the previous positive one (at the plant) and finish collecting the repeats in the distribution as soon as he gets more bottles at the lab. He will ask others about the coliform sampling plan to find out where he should collect those repeats in the distribution. Randy provided the new contact information to update our database. Randy also stated the water system is looking for a new DRC (or DRCs) because their current one wants to retire. ACTION NEEDED: Randy will speak with Jay MacPherson tomorrow about the coliform sampling plan and where to collect distribution samples. Await results of repeat samples. | ||
