Details:	SUMMARY: Boil water notice DETAILS: The water system had an E. coli positive sample on 10/5. These alert is in response to the repeat samples collected 10/9/16. Two of the distribution repeat samples were positive for total coliform. The positive repeat samples confirm the presence of coliform thereby a boil water notice has been triggered. The source samples were absent for bacteria. The system does not have a sample tap immediately following the storage tank so it is uncertain if the cause of contamination is coming from the tank. System was sent a boil notice template and returned back to OHA with the date distributed. Notices were starting to be handed out yesterday and posted in locations around town. ACTION NEEDED: System will be batch chlorinating and flushing the system. Five distribution samples will need to be collected to see if the boil notice can be lifted. System expects to have all tasks complete in a week.
