Details: SUMMARY: Follow up to HAA5 MCL exceedence DETAILS: Spoke to Micah today about HAA5 level in November of 0.0817 mg/L that caused the running average of HAA5 levels over the past 4 quarters to be 0.061 mg/L, which exceeds the Maximum Contaminant Level of 0.060 mg/L for HAA5s. TTHM level from November also exceeded the MCL of 0.080 mg/L, but average of 4 quarters is still below. Since MCL exceeded for HAA5, public notice to all users within 30 days is requried and treatment or distribution system modifications will be necessary to bring levels of DBPs down. ACTION NEEDED: Association to distribute notice template, forwarded today, to all users within 30 days with a copy to the State. DWS will forward letter to system requiring treatment of system modifications to address levels over the MCL.
