| Details: | SUMMARY: Annual Assessment Samples TC and E.coli + DETAILS: Scott Berry from OAWU is a contract operator for the Vineyard Mountain Water Company. He reported to me that his AS samples for wells 1, 2 and 4 were all TC+ and E-coli positive. Scott was instructed to take 5 five confirmation samples at each active source within the next 24 hours. Scott reported that well 1 was not in use at the time the samples were taken. He also reported that the testing was done through a single port in the well house. They shut the pumps off for two wells, flushed and then sampled for the well that is on. He believes this created the issue and took steps to make it easier to access the sample taps at each well. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for the results of the confirmation samples. | ||
