Details:	SUMMARY: GROUND WATER RULE COMPLIANCE DETAILS: The Westridge Subdivision is a rural subdivision located north of Prineville in Crook County. The system serves 74 people through 47 connections. The source water is a well which sits close to a major irrigation canal. The water system had positive Total Coliform and e. Coli in June 2014. The Circuit Rider was contacted to aid the water system in achieving compliance with the Ground Water Rule. The water system would like to consider UV disinfection to provide disinfection for compliance with the GWR or future treatment due to GUDI. In addition, the system must collect MPA samples for the evaluation of the system for GUDI due to the irrigation canal. Visited water system to evaluate the system for the application of UV disinfection and review current disinfection system. Discussed preferred method of using chlorination and contact time to achieve compliance with the GWR. ACTION NEEDED: Collect MPA sample. Assist with compliance with GWR.
