Details:	SUMMARY: FUNDING ASSISTANCE (SRF LOI) DETAILS: The Circuit Rider was contacted by Melissa Dailey with CASA. CASA is assisting the residents of Umpqua Ranch with purchasing the park from the previous owner. As part of the work, CASA is evaluating infrastructure needs for the system. The Circuit Rider was contacted to provide assistance with evaluation and recommendations for the water system. CASA is seeking assistance with planning and operations for the water system. The system has 4 active wells and 3 inactive wells. The existing wells do not provide enough water to the community at all times. When the wells do not produce enough water, the system uses the emergency intake on the North Umpqua River. The system would benefit from a Water Master Plan or similar planning effort. It is recommended that funding be secured to provide for a more comprehensive plan than can be provided by the Circuit Rider. Assisted with the completion of the Letter of Interest for the Safe Drinking Water Revolving Loan Fund for planning funds. ACTION NEEDED: Provide additional assistance regarding supply and operational issues, as needed.
