| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine Sample Was Total Coliform Positive DETAILS: I spoke with Darrel Hensley at JLR. He stated that the firm had intended to take a special sample but apparently marked the form incorrectly. I spoke with the lab that ran the sample, Waterlab Corporation, and they confirmed that the form had been marked routine and would not be changed. Darrel agreed to treat the result as a positive coliform on a routine sample. ACTION NEEDED: Darrel will be taking three repeat samples. He will take one from the original sample site, a sink with a swivel arm, though he will attempt to avoid the swivel arm. He will also take one downstream and one upstream. In addition he will take a triggered sample from each source since it is a non-chlorinated groundwater system. Currently only one source is operating, Well #5. Well #4 recently went down due to mechanical failure, and well #8 is not in use as it is for emergency use only. To recap, we should expect 3 repeat samples and 1 source. Darrel is not sure if Waterlab Corp operates on the weekend, but he intends to take the sample as early as Saturday, 3/4/2017 if possible. | ||
