| Details: | SUMMARY: Two Distribution Samples Collected on 3-31-17 Tested E.coli + DETAILS: Two distribution samples collected on 3-31-17 tested E coli +. These samples reiterate what is already known: the distribution system, despite multiple attempts at disinfection through batch chlorination, is contaminated with total coliform and E coli bacteria. This water system is already on a boil water notice and will stay on a boil water notice until continuous chlorination/treatment is installed. DWS has given this water system until 8-21-17 to install treatment. I contacted Del Hild on 3-23-17 and reminded him of the deadline to install treatment, but advised him that (1) treatment should be installed asap and (2) to contact Scott Curry for plan review instructions. Del has since contacted Scott Curry with a request for information. ACTION NEEDED: Chlorine treatment (residual maintenance) needs to be installed asap but no later than the DWS deadline of 8-21-17. | ||
