| Details: | SUMMARY: DBP follow up DETAILS: On 5/5/17 I notified the PWS contact Dave Terrusa (contract DRC from Langlois) that Port Orford was receiving a violation for exceeding the MCL in the annual average for TTHM. The MCL was exceeded in the 3 previous quarters. I emailed him the Tier 2 public notice template and instructions and asked him to forward it to whomever at Port Orford would need to follow through. Because the OEL is also now exceeding the MCL, on 5/9/17 I emailed Dave the OEL report template and a letter about it. I again asked him to forward the email as appropriate (the report would need input from both distribution and treatment staff). I also mailed a hardcopy of the OEL materials directly to Port Orford. On 5/22/17, I reviewed a draft PN and provided feedback to Port Orford Public Works Director Terrie Richards. She may wait a few more days to receive the 5/10/17 DBP results before distributing the notice. ACTION NEEDED: Await copy of Public Notice (due to us by June 12) and the OEL report (by August 9). | ||
