| Details: | SUMMARY: Monitoring and Reporting DETAILS: Linda called to state she has submitted a (pre-opening) coliform sample from the distribution system and a nitrate sample. (Coliform results are expected before the weekend and Nitrate results may take another week or so.) She also asked about the need to collect a source sample from the well head. I confirmed this was required. She said there was a goal to be open by June 10th.We then discussed the possibility of maintaining a quarterly sample schedule for coliforms (instead of monthly) as there is a separate year round water connection separate from the resort property that is part of the system and at least one year round tenant on the resort property. I also explained that piping through the resort needed to remain pressurized even when the resort was "closed" for the season. She stated that this was fact and this allowed her family to visit the property off-season with minimal inconvenience. She said her husband had notified someone at the state of this fact. I said I would carry forward a request to up-date the coliform sampling schedule. ACTION NEEDED: Linda to collect and submit a source sample. Linda to notify public health if the distribution sample collected earlier this week showed coliform present.Public health to notify DWS of change in coliform sampling schedule. | ||
