| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up to standard lead and copper monitoring DETAILS: I spoke to Dave after reviewing the Citys two six-month rounds of monitoring at 40 lead and copper sites (fall 2016 and spring 2017). The City has sampled at taps identified in EPA 141-A forms submitted to DWS earlier, as City needed to re-start standard monitoring, given not enough sample sites located after lead goosenecks, in the fall 2016. The Citys two rounds are below action levels at the 90th percentile and meet the requirement to reduce monitoring to 20 approved sites once every three years: 0.005 mg/L lead and 0.65 mg/L copper, with the next monitoring due between June 1 and Sept. 30th, 2020. ACTION NEEDED: DWS updating lead and copper schedule. City to continue with lead and copper sampling according to required schedule, and continue to notify individual customers of their lead tap results with health effects information. | ||
