Details:	SUMMARY: chlorination treatment installed DETAILS: The City of Unity was required to install treatment due to multiple months of coliform detections. The sodium hypochlorite disinfection (residual maintenance) system was installed on 7/26/17. The chlorination pump is tied in to wells 1 and 2. Well 3 is an emergency source. If the system decides to activate this source on a more seasonal schedule, then a second chlorination unit will be required to be installed. Photo documentation from OAWU was submitted of the chlorination system and system has been recording the free chlorine residual for Sept and Oct 2017. The chlorination product used is Hasa-Chlor (NSF approved). ACTION NEEDED: System to check and record residual at least twice per week. Records will be reviewed during the next survey. System to let DWS know if well activity status changes for well #3.
