| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine total coliform positive DETAILS: I received an email from Gene that a routine sample collected on Nov. 6th at the Butterfield sampling station was total coliform positive. Only the China Hat Well #1 (SRC-AA) was in use at the time of the positive sample. He will collect three repeat samples at upstream, downstream and original sites, including a triggered source sample from China Hat Well #1. Gene will notify me on Thursday, Nov. 9th when the resutls are available. Received email on Nov. 9th of two routines collected on Nov. 7th at the Hunnell and Yellow Leaf sampling stations were total coliform positive. Gene indicated three repeat and two triggered source samples will be collected. The sources in use at the time were China Hat Well #1 (SRC-AA) and DRW Well #1 (SRC-IA). Marc Caldwell would inform me if follow-up samples were positive. On Nov. 13th I emailed Marc that with three samples coliform positive Avion should continue collecting samples for November to avoid triggering a level 2 coliform investigation. Data Online shows all repat and triggered source samples were coliform absent. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for completion of November samples to determine if further action is needed. |
