Details: SUMMARY: New Sampling Points for DBP Testing DETAILS: Mr. Van Cleave has provided the addresses for two new sampling points for disinfection byproducts (DBP) that will replace the one on West Benham Lane. The change in location has been done in order to insure the DBPs are monitored at points in the system where the treated water has the longest residence time. The new dual sample points are: 14397 Hwy 101 South (2DBP-03), and 99262 Winchuck River Road (2DBP-04). Mr. Bloemsma confirmed that the DBP sample collected on 10/17/2017 was from 14397 Hwy 101 South (2DBP-03).It appears there was only one set collected this year. Mr. Bloemsma clarified that the reason for this, is that they were under the understanding that the two dual samples for DBPs should be collected at West Benham Lane. ACTION NEEDED: By November 31st 2017, the operator will collect one dual DBP sample at the second new location, 99262 Winchuck River Road. Based on the results for the two new dual sample points, the system will be informed where and when they need to monitor for DBPs in the future.
