Details:	SUMMARY: OERS Incident No. 2018-0704 DETAILS: I received a copy of an OERS incident report No. 2018-0704 which indicated that Steve Petra (503-860-7064) with Stimson lumber reported an industrial waste water overflow due to a failed timer on an irrigation pump, which kept pumping water into a pond that overfilled and spilled/seeped into Scoggins Creek. The waste water was untreated, but reported to not have toxics. Stimson lumber had reported the release to local DEQ and the City of Hillsboro water works on 3/26/18. I called and spoke to Zac Bertz at the Joint Water Commission plant supplying hillsboro and he said that they had been monitoring the situation since 3/26/18 and did not detect any impact to their drinking water source. ACTION NEEDED: City to continue to monitor source water for impacts.
