Details: SUMMARY: Water Quality Alert: Lead & Copper DETAILS: Talked with Dawna McLain, operator of Eddyville Charter School water system. Went over possible solutions to excursion for March in Distribution system. If pH reading falls below 7.2, immediate recheck of sample will be conducted to verify reading. Dawna will also follow up with Culligan to see about increasing soda ash injector so if pH does drop for various reasons it would have a buffer to not drop below 7.2. Recent lead and copper samples came back below MCL. ACTION NEEDED: Keep monitoring pH levels. Immediately follow up with Culligan, state or county if your pH level cannot be maintained above 7.2.
