Drinking Water Source Protection Activities
Please help us keep track of protection activities in your community by providing information on ways that you are protecting your source of drinking water prior to treatment. Required elements of drinking water protection such as emergency response planning, backflow protection, and cross-connection programs are tracked separately by Oregon Health Authority so you do not need to list them here.
This information will help us share effective source water protection tools with other communities. It also will be used to evaluate loan and grant applications, identify "substantial" activities that can be listed in your Consumer Confidence Report and that your water system can receive a recognition award for, and helps us report to EPA on the program's progress.
