| Comments: The deficiencies noted are as follows: Surface Treatment Deficiencies 1. Calibrate turbidimeters at least quarterly. 2. Perform Tracer Study at peak hourly demand flowrate when clearwell is at lowest level. HBH can assist with the study; see enclosed pamphlet. 3. Record residual chlorine measurements daily near end of distribution system. Management and Operations Deficiencies 4. A Water System Operations Manual must be developed and kept up to date. The operations manual should include procedures and schedules for backwashing, calibrating chemical feed pumps, calibrating turbidimeters, maintaining the reservoir and the clearwell, flushing the distribution system, etc. Please see the enclosed information for further details. { OAR 333-061-0064 (2)(c) } Operator Certification Deficiencies 5.
