Comments: 1. A coliform sampling plan needs to be completed for the water system, identifying routine and repeat sample locations and a brief narrative. Please see attached template to this survey. 2. An Operations & Maintenance Plan needs to be completed for the water system. The source, storage, and pumping procedures need to be outlined in a manual to be kept at the office trailer on-site. Please see attached handout outlining key items to be included. 3. The water system will need an Emergency Response Plan. This should outline water system security threats, and include key local utility, and agency phone numbers. See information outline attached to this survey. 4. Someone from the Mill will need to attend a Small Water System Operating Course in order to be the Designated Responsible Charge Operator. There are upcoming classes in April 2009 in Clackamas and June 2009 in The Dalles. Please contact Ms. Marsha Fox at (971) 673-0408 for further information on how to become a registered small water system operator.
