Treatment: Surface Water Treatment: -Turbidity Standards not met. Must be less than 0.3 NTU in 95% of measurements. -No alarm or plant shut off for high turbidity -Turbidity profile not conducted on individual filters at least quarterly. Disinfection: -Minimum CT requirement not met all times. Achieve at least 99.9 percent inactivation and/or removal of giardia lamblia and 99.99 percent of viruses. -No documentation of NSF approval on Culligan F-86 polymer -Chlorine residual not measured and recorded in distribution system at least twice weekly. Recommendations: 1. Raw water turbidity should be collected at least daily. 2. Jar testing or equivalent should be used regularly. 3. Chemical dosages, strengths, and feed rates should be known and recorded during plant operation.
