  Comments:

Deficiencies identified during the 2013 Water System Survey include:

  • Wells are not watertight. Corrected on 10/15/13.
  • Maintain and seal well buildings from animal access. Corrected on 10/15/13.
  • No written operations & maintenance manual. Timeline to correct is 2/28/14.
  • No written protocols for under-certified operators. Timeline to correct is 2/28/14.
  • No written Emergency Response Plan. Included in master plan submitted by 12/31/13
  • No current master plan. Final approval PR #69-2014 on 5/21/14

** All deficiencies must be corrected by December 31, 2013.

Comments noted:

  • Verify storage reservoir hatch is secure and watertight, vent screened and other openings into tank are sealed. Received photos showing hatch secure and vent is screened - 10/8/13
  • Add narrative and triggered source water sampling to coliform sampling plan. Will have by 2/28/14
  • Remove weeds in areas surrounding well buildings and inside fenced are for storage reservoir. Item addressed on 10/15/13
