| Details: | The water system had collected its monthly arsenic sample on 9/14/22 and it tested at 41.7ppb for arsenic. The MCL is 10ppb. As the result is over the Oregon limit of 35ppb, a do not drink notice has been posted for the vulnerable population of young children and infants.
A new chemical feed pump was installed last week and the system is submitting a new arsenic sample. I have asked the operator to have the sample processing expedited. Further information will be posted as its received. The system was sent both an english and spanish versions of the do not drink notice on Thursday 9/29/22. Lifted 10/12/2022: The water system had replaced a chemical feed pump and collected a new arsenic sample on 10/5/22. The result was received on 10/12 and was 5.22ppb. |
