| Details: | Spoke with Daniel on the phone at 2:10pm on 1/12/2023. Discussed E.Coli positive results confirmed in the distribution. School is sending out boil water/do not drink notice as soon as possible to parents and staff today by email. Drinking water taps have been closed off and potable water jugs/water bottles will be provided until advisory is lifted.
Suspected cause is either a break in the line during the ice storm on 12/23, or contamination from faulty seals on the water tanks. Management plans on resealing all of the new tanks, repairing the line, and shock chlorinating the well/system for 24 hours. Lifted 02/06/2023: Daniel Graber emailed the results of special samples taken on 2/2/23. Samples came back with no E.coli or total coliform. |
