| Details: | Spoke with Daniel on the phone at 2:10pm on 1/12/2023. Discussed E.Coli positive results confirmed in the distribution. School is sending out boil water/do not drink notice as soon as possible to parents and staff today by email. Drinking water taps have been closed off and potable water jugs/water bottles will be provided until advisory is lifted. Suspected cause is either a break in the line during the ice storm on 12/23, or contamination from faulty seals on the water tanks. Management plans on resealing all of the new tanks, repairing the line, and shock chlorinating the well/system for 24 hours. Level 2 investigation carried out on-site on 1/20/2023 at 2:00pm. Daniel stated that well was shock chlorinated on Monday, 1/16/23 and retesting will happen on Monday, 1/23/23. Follow up: Contacted Daniel Graber on 1/26/23 at 1:18pm to follow up about retest results. Daniel says that both wells are clean of E. Coli and total coliform. The distribution is clean of E. Coli, but still has coliform present. The well company is coming out today (1/26/23) to determine how to proceed. Additional Follow up: Daniel Graber took special samples on 2/2/23 from taps. Daniel emailed at 8:41am on 2/6/23 to let us know that the samples came back clean of E.coli and Total coliform. Forwarded results over to DMCE. Told Daniel that according to our rules, he can take down the boil water advisory. Also told him that the 10 points on his record will RTC after two months of clean coliform reports. |
