| Details: | Dirk Kozak notified NCPHD of the repeat coliform samples that were submitted on 7/12/23. A "Boil Water Advisory" has been issued to customers until special samples can confirm the absence of E. coli. Dirk is working to shock the source, reservoir and distribution preceded by flushing distribution. Once the system has rested for at least 6 hours with a residual of 5 mg/l, he will then draw a special sample to confirm the absence of coliforms. Once coliforms or confirmed to be absent, NCPHD will work to remove the "Boil Water Advisory." Lifted 08/21/2023: NCPHD received notice that the coliform samples came back absent for coliforms. The advisory has been lifted. |
