| Details: | I received a call from Jeff Miller, who advised that the system has developed a significant leak that has resulted in the systems storage tank to reach zero despite operating at maximum rated capacity. Miller advises that he can increase flow through the system, but not without exceeding the turbidity limits for treatment. Miller also advises that he can hear the water rushing into and out of the storage tank, but that he does not see an increase in wastewater flow, so system staff are searching the distribution system across campus looking for leak. Miller intends to keep flow rates within turbidity treatment limits to ensure that only potable water enters the system, and will collect clearance bacteria samples once the leak has been repaired and pressure has been restored. Lifted 11/10/2023: At Milo Academy the waterline break was repaired and coliform results came back clear. |
