| Details: | Loves Travel Stop in Boardman (95533) had an initial E. coli routine coliform sample collected on 12/4. Follow up samples were collected on 12/7/23 had one location come back positive for E. coli. Dept of Ag oversees the system and is working with the system on requirements for the boil water procedures. A site visit was done on 12/6/23 and no potential source of contamination was noted at the time. Melissa Ney, Dept of Ag, is the regulator contact for the water system. Lifted 12/12/2023: The water system had Pursewell Pumps come out and chlorinated the well with 1.5lbs of chlorine tablets. A local fire department assisted by draining the storage reservoir so the well pump would come on and start pulling the chlorinated water through. A coliform sample from the restaurant sink was pulled on Monday morning (12/11) and taken to the lab. On Tuesday (12/12), it was verbally confirmed from the lab that the sample passed. The boil advisory was lifted at that time. |
