| Details: | The City of Hillsboro issued a partial boil water advisory to ~45 connections (35 residential, 8 commercial and 1 industrial) in the vicinity of NE 25th Avenue and NE Sunrise Lane on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. This advisory was prompted by a loss of system pressure caused by a motor vehicle striking a fire hydrant. Customers within the impacted service area were notified via bilingual door hangers, alongside a new article published online, the Dedicated Water Alert webpage, and social media messaging platforms. After service was restored, water samples were taken to test for coliform bacteria presence. Lifted 02/08/2024: The partial boil water advisory issued by the City of Hillsboro for ~45 connections near NE 25th Avenue and NE Sunrise Lane has been lifted. Samples taken came back negative for TC. |
