| Details: | Operator reported new issue in the upper area, sections S, T, U, OV, and I. Deanna informed customers that they do not have enough information yet to determine what caused the water pressure lost. Management is considering having water delivered from another source in order to avoid extending the loss of water service. Staff is troubleshooting the issue to determine the cause. Customers will be notified when the pressure has been restored and lab samples show absence of bacterial contamination. Copy of the boil advisory sent to DMCE. Update 05/20/2024: Giovanni informed me via email that staff has identified the caused of the total loss of pressure that affected Sections S, T, U, OV and I. It was a leak in Unit I3 that caused the reservoirs to drain overnight. The boil will remain until the operator can restore pressure and lab results show absence of coliform contamination. Lifted 05/22/2024: Deanna Strange reported that water samples returned absence of coliform contamination. the boil advisory was lifted. Customers advised to flush household pipe and faucets. |
