Details: I received a phone call from a customer at Rainbow Rock village MHP informing me that there is no water at the park and there have been prevailing issues with the water pressure since last year. Brenda Vazquez (DRC) was contacted via email. Brenda reported that before going to work there was water, but around 8:30 am the park manager called informing her that was a leak, and it drained the tanks. Presumably the park manager informed everyone at the park. Brenda was advised to post a boil water notice using the boil advisory template available on DWS website. The boil will remain in place until the issue with the leak is resolved and water samples show absence of coliform contamination.

Update 05/21/2024:  Brenda emailed a copy of the public water advisory and reported that the tanks are filling so the water has been off all day. Carlos is going to deliver the notices tomorrow morning (May 22, 2024) and then turn the water on at least for a few hours. The system has a leak detection company scheduled for May 24, 2024.

Lifted 06/04/2024:  Operator reported that lab results were absent of coliform contamination. the boil advisory was lifted, and customers were notified. No further actions needed at this time.
