| Details: | On 7/26/24, we received notice that the sample collected on 7/24/24 showed a nitrate level of 13.8 mg/L. This level is above the nitrate standard, or maximum contaminant level (MCL), of 10 mg/L.
DO NOT GIVE THE WATER TO INFANTS. DO NOT BOIL THE WATER. Update 05/30/2025: 5/30/25 Nitrate level alert for 14 mg/l at EP-B EP for Well #2. Well will be turned on beginning June 11. DO NOT DRINK WATER notice to remain active for the Tooley Water District after the well is activated. Lifted 07/29/2025: The operator confirmed that Well #2 (Lower) has been disconnected. As a result, the well has been inactivated and designated as an emergency source in OHA’s records. Monitoring and chemical sampling requirements for this source have been closed until the well is reactivated. |
