| Details: | The water system had collected a routine coliform sample on 10/1 that came back positive for E. coli. All three repeat samples collected on 10/3 also tested positive for E. coli. The system is showing a good chlorine residual but they have had issues with the chlorine feed pump. The system has a large pressure tank and long line to the clubhouse. I recommended the pressure tank be drained and whole system flushed. Further information to come. Lifted 10/11/2024: The water system flushed out the 1000 gall on pressure tank and filled/flushed with new chlorine solution. System was testing free chlorine residual between 1.5-2.5 in the clubhouse. Three special coliform samples were collected on 10/9 and all were absent for bacteria. System was released from the boil notice. |
