| Details: | Began boiling Jan 21st after the first major water loss.
They have been on a precautionary Boil Order since Jan 25th.
They have been seeking all the other waterline breaks (~3) since then that have prevented them from building up water storage in the tank... Maybe they will test again early in the first week in February...
Potable water resources are on Hwy 26 at the popular spring site near the ODOT Sunset Springs rest area. (WS # 91097) Update 02/21/2025: Crux of the issue is that it is difficult to find small leaks, even with a well-designed distribution system with valves and meters. MEWS however, has none of those tools. And the well only produces ~5 gpm. Therefore a 2 gpm leak will ultimately drain the large reservoir. |
