| Details: | Long-term leaking pipe under the Columbia slough (100 gpd) finally broke in the middle of the night Tuesday morning, before they could fix the leak this summer. They fixed the line and restored pressure by Tuesday afternoon. Since then they have been disinfecting the line and getting coliform sample results before lifting the boil notice.
Midland is still on a boil on today, Friday, since Tuesday. However notifying all 72 customers of this event has been insufficient. Lifted 05/23/2019: All 3 coliform samples came back negative. Boil order lifted in late afternoon. |
