| Details: | Owner reports that routine maintenance work was conducted on this water system on Monday 5-20-19. On the same day a routine coliform sample was submitted. The test result for this sample was positive for coliform. 3 distribution samples and one assessment sample was submitted on 5-22-19. One of the distribution samples was positive for E.Coli, the other two were positive for coliform. The well sample was not positive E.Coli or coliform results. A Boil Water Notice has been posted. The operator will be submitting 3 distribution samples tomorrow 5-24-19. The operator has begun chlorinating and flushing this system. Lifted 05/28/2019: Received confirmation from the lab this morning that the three distribution samples submitted on Friday are absent of coliform and E.coli. I spoke to the operator today and the chlorinator is now function properly. Residual chlorine is being maintained in this system. I will be meeting with the operator and the owner to discuss causes and corrective actions in detail, this afternoon |
