| Details: | In contact with owners and operator regarding the E, coli positive sample result. Routine maintenance conducted at this water system which may have contributed to this contamination event. Operator reports that yesterday she noticed that the chlorine delivery line was not connected to the water line. She attempted to repair but unsuccessful. Spoke with pump company onsite making repairs this morning. System is now being disinfected. Chlorination dosage has been increased. Pump company to remain onsite during this process. Operator to encourage tenants to flush today. Operator will confirm chlorine levels throughout the day. Spoken with staff at OHA-DWS regarding required samples submitted today. Confirmed that if disinfection is not adequate today, samples can be turned to lab on Tuesday. This system will be sampling from the same prior 3 sites. This system will remain on a Boil Water Alert until there is confirmation that there is not a presence or E. Coli and Coliform bacteria. | ||
