Details: | A resident called the state with a complaint that two boil water notices have been issued in the park in the last 60 days. It was confirmed.
A resident broke a water line on Saturday 11/30/19. The system had to be shut down. The break was repaired. A single test was taken. I requested two more samples in the upper and lower sections of the park.
I inquired about the other incident and was told that a contractor broke a line last month resulting in a system wide shut down.
Isolation valving has been purchased but has yet to be installed.
In each case the county was not notified of the boil water notice.
Chris said he was not aware of that he needed to notify the county. I instructed him to make sure that I am notified in all future events. I provided Chris with my contact information.
I requested a copy of the current boil notice. The notice will remain in effect until the other two samples are received and all are absent for bacteria. First sample result should be ready at 11 am on 12/4. The other two sample results should be available by approximately 11 am on 12/5. Lifted 12/06/2019: Three samples were submitted to the lab. All returned absent. The boil water advisory has been lifted. We discussed insuring that I am notified anytime a event occurs that requires a boil water advisory. |
