Details: | Kaycee reported at approximately 6am that a resident reported a loss of pressure at 3am. Jason Green of OAWU was notified. The booster pumps were overheating. The system was shut down. Jason stated that only one well was operating and that wiring to the wells was being diagnosed. He reported the wet well was filling and that the system should be back on -line in a few hours. Kaycee will distribute the boil water notice. The Boil Water Advisory will remain in effect until the system is functional and follow testing can be conducted. Update 06/21/2018: Spoke to Kaycee Edgerton the park manger and Jason Green OAWU this morning. The distribution pumps are functional. One was repaired and one replaced. There is good pressure and chlorine residual throughout the park. The distribution system and both wells will be tested today. The results will return tomorrow at approximately 11am. If the results return with no detections the Boil Water Notice will be lifted. Update 06/24/2018: On Thursday 6/21/18 the water in the distribution system was cloudy so the DRC Jason Green and park manager Kaycee Edgerton decided to wait until Friday 6/22/18 to draw the source samples and the distribution samples. The tests were submitted and Kaycee checked for results late Friday but they were not complete. She called the lab Saturday but no one was available to speak to. I will check for the results when the lab opens on Monday 6/25/18. Lifted 06/25/2018: Four distribution samples were submitted on 6/22/18. One sample was disqualified for too much chlorine residual by the lab. I spoke to the park manager about the disqualification but she was not sure what happened. I spoke to Jason Green with OAWU and Shawn Stevenson. The three remaining sample qualify and the advisory has been lifted. Jason Green will be assisting the operator to take assessment samples of the wells on 6/26/18. |
