| Details: | I received a text at 8:02 am from Sandra the manager at Knoll Terrace. She reported a loss of power at the manufactured housing park that resulted in a loss of pressure. She reported a fuse on the power pole blew. I also spoke to Chris the maintenance foreman about distributing a boil water notice and taking three distribution samples. At minimum at least one sample each in the lower, middle and upper sections of the park. Chris explained that he had tried to contact Edge earlier in the week but they were closed possibly due to Covid-19. I called the DWP on-call line and spoke to Dave Emme about lab availability during the pandemic. He stated it was a topic this week and they requested labs to report their availability. Jason Green of OAWU the Knoll Terrace Park DRC texted that he had the same conversation with Tony Fields at DWP.
Chris was instructed to consider calling Water Lab in Salem on Monday if Edge Analytical in Corvallis is actually closed.
Sandy reported by text at 10:23 am that power and water were restored.
Lifted 03/24/2020: The manager reported that repeat samples for the boil water notice are negative. Edge Analytical also confirmed the test results as negative. |
