Details: | WS has confirmed E. coli in the distribution system. Kamela will be going door to door to provide the public notice/boil advisory. She is to send me a copy of the completed notice. The WS had a routine TC+ sample in April and then had to repair a distribution leak. They shock chlorinated and then collected the 3 repeats and triggered samples on 5/27. The WS is considering installing chlorine residual maintenance until new distribution lines can be installed. They believe the existing lines are at the end of their life. Once some corrective action has been completed, Kamela will collect some special samples to see if they need to remain on the boil water advisory. Update 06/04/2020: I completed an onsite L2 investigation on 6/4. The WS shock chlorinated on 6/3 and will be collecting special samples next week to determine if the boil advisory can be lifted. Lifted 06/10/2020: Kamela called and informed me that special samples collected last Friday were all clear. I contacted the lab to verify the test results. Boil advisory lifted. |
