| Details: | Mike contacted the weekend Phone Duty officer, Tony Fields, early Saturday to report that a valve failed to open over Friday night which caused one of their water storage reservoirs to discharge all of its water. As a result, the higher elevations of the City, including some parts of the downtown area, were without water early Saturday morning. Repairs were completed and pressure restored throughout the system by mid-morning. Sandy posted a boil notice on their website and social media and notified residents directly. The City took bacteria samples that came up negative in the affected zone. So the boil was lifted Sunday afternoon.
There was one TC+ far from the affected zone, but the Repeats and Triggered samples came back negative.
