Details: | I was notified via voice mail 7/16/18 that a break had occurred. I did not receive the voice mail until the morning of 7/17/18. The break occurred at a home site at approximately 1pm. It was repaired by 9pm and pressure was restored. It was confirmed that Boil Water Notices were delivered by the manager acting in capacity. The acting manager has resigned her position. I am waiting for a copy of the Boil Water Notice. Jason was instructed to have the maintenance staff take a minimum of three distribution samples.
I will file a change of contact once a new manager has been hired. Jason Green continues to act as the DRC. Lifted 07/20/2018: I spoke to Don Baker this afternoon. He is acting in capacity as the new manager is getting acclimated. He reported three follow-up samples submitted after pressure loss from a line break are all absent for coliform. The boil water advisory was lifted. We again discussed that they will be installing isolation valves through out the park to help isolate sections if and when break occurs. We also discussed aesthetic water quality issues. We discussed continuing to work with OAWU and I introduced the circuit rider program. I will make him aware of state revolving loan fund. |
